Why Give?

The reasoning behind why we feel so passionate about donating to local shelters is because lots of them have the issue of too many pets compared to the capacity they are built for. Many of them wind up having to euthanize large numbers due to those issues. . Donating helps them cover the cost of daily operations, supplies, staff training, and more such as expanding to to decrease euthanization. Animal shelters provide basic medical care to both animals living in the shelters and in the community at low cost, such as routine vaccinations, parasite control, and spay/neuter. They also create a healthy environment for animals, keeping them clean, well-maintained, and at a comfortable temperature. Adopting a pet from an animal shelter or a rescue group helps fight pet overpopulation and save the lives of homeless animals looking for their forever home.
